About

Meet the Founders

Built by coaches who happen to be parents. Built because clipboards weren't cutting it.

GameOn! is built by a small group of parents (who happen to be tall) and youth-sports coaches who were tired of juggling spreadsheets, stopwatches, and substitution notes. We wanted something better — so we built it.

(And yes, two founders really are named Chris. We're rolling with it.)

Christopher Smylie

Christopher Smylie

Co-Founder

Chris S has coached multiple youth soccer teams and served as a director for one of the region's largest soccer organizations. Before that, he worked within one of the area's major entertainment and gaming groups, which shaped his talent for sleek, clean UI design.

His experience running soccer programs — and always channeling his inner Arsène Wenger — made it clear that youth sports needed better tools. GameOn! was created to fill that gap.

Christopher Palmieri

Christopher Palmieri

Co-Founder

Chris P brings a lifelong passion for sports along with real-world experience running a healthcare software company. He has a natural knack for design, clean workflows, and turning messy ideas into streamlined features coaches actually want to use.

Picture Doc Brown if he traded the DeLorean for Figma — that's what we have with Chris.

(Again — no, we don't only hire people named Chris.)

Nicholas Palmieri

Nicholas Palmieri

Co-Founder

Nick's background spans sports & entertainment, finance, analytics, and team operations. He has coached multiple basketball and soccer teams, and today he serves as a league director for one of the region's fastest-growing girls' basketball organizations.

His commitment to fairness, development, and real-time game management and analytics helped shape the mission behind GameOn! What makes this even more special, he was our first hire not named Chris.
